Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend #MarilynMonroeMoment
Before planning and shooting this series, I did quite a lot of snooping around when it came to Marilyn Monroe’s style. Contrary to popular opinion, her style was the epitome of versatility. Be it an evening gown with a plunging neckline, or a mini skirt with a floral top or just the classic denim ensemble, she made everything look effortless. However the only thing that remained constant would be her jewelry. Marilyn was definitely not one to go subtle when it came to a choice of accessories. Big glittering earrings and necklaces were just routine items in her daily wardrobe. It didn’t matter if it was a day/night outfit, Marilyn’s jewels would accompany her whenever.
So for the second part of this series I kept it fairly simple with a white off-shoulder dress which gives the perfect opportunity to flaunt a bold necklace. For a more classy look the silver clutch is a wonderful addition, and of course no Marilyn Monroe look is complete without towering heels. Sneakers or shoes, you ask? Those are for the weak.

On a completely different note, today marks the one year anniversary of my blog! In this one year I’ve had the best time coming up with new ideas for the blog and putting them into perspective. I love that I can use this platform to unleash my creative energy and express myself thoroughly.
Thank you to everyone who reads my blog and supports me, it means the world to me.
